Whooooa!!

Slick remix, dudette!! And I put the emphasis on "remix"; you really took the source material into your own lane, while still faithfully translating it into the electronica realm. I really can't think of anything to criticize really. Only thing I noticed is that it felt as if it was still...holding back, I guess. It goes all over the place, but still feels a bit restrained...I dunno, sorry I can't be better help. Otherwise this is top-class :)

VGSongbird responds:

Lol I'm just excited to hear from you! You're arrangement of this song kicks it...seriously :D
Thanks for supporting me!

Rockman!

Dope arrangement! Very faithful arrangement to the original, captures the spirit perfectly. Definitely put a lot of love into this theme, and I like the synths for the melody. I think a little more can be done to switch up the instruments though; kinda wanna hear that guitar in the background a bit more up front. Otherwise great job!

7aiho responds:

Aye ! Thanks for the review ! I've now raised the bass and guitar for this version !

No, dude. Cheers to YOU.

Rich instruments, luscious bass and such a bad@$$ breakbeat. This is full of so much win that I can't even come up with a corny metaphor to explain it, lol. Seriously dude, mucho props.

Breed responds:

and mucho props to you for such a nice review =)

Cheers!

Lovely :)

Very poignant and haunting. You nailed it with the piano, dude. The backdrop is equally enthralling. Keep it up!!

"Haunting" is an awesome way to describe it that I think nails what I was going for. Thank you so much!

Slick arrangement

I can tell you went to town on this joint. Very playful and swaggering. Great job! :)

FRAYDO responds:

Thank you for your review, Cam3leon! Swagger is definitely the best way to describe this. :)

Has potential...

Love the bass, but try changing the lead synth for the main melody; it gets lost in the song a bit too easily, and something more striking/louder would energize the song a bit more. Also pump up the beat. IMO Zangief's theme has to "boom," no matter how it's arranged. It's good though man, keep it up!

Majorgeneral responds:

thanks, this one needs some work.

A suggestion...

The melody is good, but a bit too dreamy for its own good. Kinda plods a bit. I'd recommend some more upbeat instruments. Also put the beat in from the original BGM. The subtle 808 drums might give it a bit more kick. Use the Vintage drum kit (I'm an FL user myself); they're perfect for this song. Otherwise good start, dude.

Majorgeneral responds:

thanks for the advice

Pixel perfect

Very ill. Faithful to the original and to the NES' capabilities. It really sounds as it should on the system. Good job, son. You did your country proud :)

Majorgeneral responds:

USA USA USA...

Cold-@$$ beat

Excellent sample, though it sounds a little distorted slowed down. Still though I like the concept, and I love Kirby Super Star, so that helps. Keep it up man :)

booyadiaz responds:

Yea. It was the Toms i put in. It sorta made a wierd sound so i had to slow the tempo just a little.

Very funky and surreal

Really encapsulates the dreamworld you're in. I'm loving the slow and steady pace and trippy bounce that drives it. Nicely done, and I agree, that ending was SWEET!!

Morien18 responds:

I find it as trippy as fried chicken! :D
