This is different than the typical sound associated with Ice Cap (I myself am guilty of that too, lol). Sounds just like a metal headbanger, even if it does sound a little synth-y in parts. I also like how you used the Act 2 version too. Good job dude!

Very suspenseful...

Dark, minimalistic, and brooding. And I'm digging that violin dude. The keys definitely give it that chilling feel to it. I feel like you could still do more with this beat though without doing too much. It's a bit too simplistic, y'know? Still bangs though, keep up the good work!

You've got a real knack for this

It sounds like a tranquil medieval village with some kind of brewing evil in the midst. And that percussion is utterly divine, as is the guitar :)

I will admit that the beat seems a little basic but I like where you're going with this mix. I would recommend upping the pitch a little bit for the melody. Higher notes would capture more of that cheerful whimsicality of the original song. But I like it so far, keep it up dude :)

Good effects in the beginning with the alarm in the background. The strings really build up the metal well, though the synth-string part was a bit awkward in places. Nevertheless good job, keep it up!

Oh the hell you woulda caught if this was the 90s

NES + SEGA?!?! EGAD!!!

But even the most rabid of Nintendoids would have to give this mix props. I can see Sonic doing a solo victory lap at the crack of dawn across the Lake to this jam. Almost Rocky-esque in the way it gets you pumped, not like how zealous and upbeat the original was. I'm definitely digging this mix. Keep it up!!
